Injection Overmolding
"Overmolding" is a unique method of manufacturing superior quality cable assemblies. Teledyne VariSystems takes raw connectors, solders or crimps cable or wire to them, then encloses both cable and connector with injection-molded plastic. The finished assembly is stronger, more weatherproof, more flexible and more reliable than cable assemblies manufactured by traditional methods (cable clamps or heat shrink). From Medical to Military, our cables are featured anywhere that reliability is the primary concern.
